I have a few of points to raise...

  I am putting this reply on the discussion list.  I agree that it is
basically the committee's responsibility (and I hope that we will get
feedback from the committee members, if only a brief "Yes, I have read this
and I have no objections or anything else to add"), but I see nothing wrong
with soliciting suggestions from everybody.
