recommended list not updated

There is no set term for updates; I generally wait until a lot accumulate, then
add them in.  Right now I'm doing about twelve other things as well, most with
closer deadlines.  Worry not, I'll probably get to these next week if nothing
else falls over. Thanks for paying attention!

Probably there is a butt-ton of suggestions to go through. Kay Shapero, who is
the ALAA'er who updates the list, is always asking the rest of the committee
for other opinions as to which category some borderline recommendee should go
into, or whether a recommendee qualifies or not, or whether a recommendee was
really first published in 2013, or how to translate a title in some non-English
alphabet like Thai or Korean.  All this is in her spare time, too; Kay is also
active in filking and other activities.  Besides being a mother.  She will get
around to it.
